What this covers
FaithFit is a Christian fitness and wellness companion for iPhone, with an Apple Watch companion. It is not a children’s app and it is not in the App Store Kids Category.
Little Light Academy is a different app. Its privacy policy is at /privacy/. This website’s policy is at /website-privacy/.
Accounts, ads, and analytics
FaithFit does not ask you to create an account with us. There is no Sadface login, no cloud profile, and no subscription account inside the app.
The app does not include advertising, and it does not include third-party analytics. We do not sell, rent, or broker your information. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing.
Apple Health
Apple Health access is optional. You can deny it and still use on-device check-ins. If you allow it, Health data is used to show your private wellness dashboard and to support workouts you choose to record. FaithFit is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or interpret clinical conditions.
If you allow reads, FaithFit may read Apple Health categories described in the permission prompt, including:
- Activity, such as steps, energy, exercise time, stand time, distance, flights climbed, and wheelchair metrics when that data exists
- Workouts
- Heart metrics, including heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, and recorded rhythm events
- Sleep
- Vitals that your device or entries support, such as blood oxygen, respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure, blood glucose, and cardio fitness
- Body measurements stored in Apple Health, mobility and walking metrics, mindfulness, hearing and environmental audio exposure, and related wellness data
Some of those categories are requested only if you allow a broader Health permission. Availability depends on your device, region, and what Apple Health already has.
Writes happen only if you explicitly allow them. FaithFit may save workouts, and related active-energy or distance samples, into Apple Health. Samples written to Apple Health stay in Apple Health until you delete them there, even if you delete FaithFit.
We do not upload your Apple Health data to Sadface servers. We do not receive it. Summaries may move between your own iPhone and your paired Apple Watch through Apple’s on-device Watch connection. That exchange is between your devices, not a Sadface account.
What stays on the device
Check-ins, prayer and movement marks, settings, and Health summaries the app keeps are stored on your device. Deleting the app removes that local copy. It does not delete samples that were saved into Apple Health.
We do not operate a FaithFit cloud backend, and we do not use your Health data to build an advertising profile.
Children
FaithFit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Families looking for the children’s app should use Little Light Academy and its separate privacy policy.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
